I had a wonderful stay at Los Balcones, a charming boutique hotel with a fantastic location near many attractions. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the service was exceptional, with the staff always ready to assist. However, I did find the breakfast experience to have its ups and downs, which means there's room for improvement. Overall, it was a delightful stay, and I'd definitely return!

This boutique hotel offers a cozy and charming stay in a prime historic area of Cuenca. The rooms are spacious and beautifully designed, featuring modern amenities and a comfortable atmosphere. However, the breakfast could use improvement and there’s no elevator, which might be a challenge for some guests. Overall, it’s a good value for the money, especially considering the great location.

I had a wonderful stay at this charming hotel in Cuenca. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the main square, and the staff is incredibly helpful and attentive. The cleanliness and comfort of the rooms made for a fantastic experience, though the breakfast could use some improvement in terms of variety. Overall, I felt it offered great value for the price, making it a delightful spot to explore Cuenca.

The hotel is centrally located in the historic district, just a couple of blocks from the main square. While it can be a bit noisy at times, the convenience of being in the heart of Cuenca outweighs that for me. I'd rate the location a 9.

I had a delightful stay at this charming hotel, which boasts beautiful character and a fantastic inner courtyard. The location is perfect, just a few blocks away from the main plaza and cathedral, making it easy to explore Cuenca. The rooms were clean and comfortable, but keep in mind there’s no elevator or air-conditioning, which might not be ideal for everyone. The breakfast buffet was great, especially with the views. Overall, it offers good value for the price.

Rooms

The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had a nice view of the busy street. However, old wooden floors made for a creaky experience, and sound insulation was lacking.

This boutique hotel has a charming old-world vibe, complete with spacious rooms and friendly service. I particularly loved the unique bathroom features but did encounter some issues with water pressure. Breakfast was a letdown, which detracted from an otherwise pleasant stay. Overall, it's a decent value for a taste of history, though it comes with its quirks.

Rooms
7.0
I stayed in a large room with a queen size bed, which was spacious but the mattress was quite hard and the pillows were not very comfortable. I appreciated the two balconies, though, which added a nice touch.
Service

The hotel is centrally located in the old town, making it easy to explore the historical sights. I enjoyed the convenience of being just a short walk to the main attractions.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast left something to be desired; it was quite uninspired and lacked variety. I ended up opting to eat elsewhere after the first day.
Facilities

The hotel features lovely bathrooms with impressive spa showers, though there was a leak that caused some water accumulation on the floor after use. Overall, the facilities were decent.
